Drink&draw: session 59

Hello! You are invited to the first installment of drink&draw with our lovely new host: Weelde. Weelde is a multi-culti space located in Rotterdam near Marconiplein. They host a variety of events and have their very own restaurant, gallery, garden, lunch cafe and project spaces.

We are very excited to be working together, and cannot wait to share the collaborative efforts of this vibrant location and the old-school art of figure drawing. As always, drink&draw welcomes people of all backgrounds and skill levels. You do not need to be an artist to attend, just an interest in drawing. This is not a class, but you will find a group of passionate people who will not mind giving advice and encouragement.

In honor of our first collaboration, drink&draw is offering a 2 for 1 special, so please bring a date, or a mate or a friend… or a random acquaintance.

People coming to the event are required to bring their own drawing materials (sorry no oil or acrylic painters, but watercolor is ok!) and we provide the model and music. Beverages can be purchased from Weelde (no outside drinks allowed out of respect for our wonderful hosts) or come early and enjoy a delicious dinner in their restaurant. Cost of drawing session is 10 euros (cash), however, for this special opening event with Weelde, bring someone with you and you both get a 50% discount. Doors open at 19.30, drawing starts at 20.00 and goes till 22.30, event ends at 23.00.
